Cycling - Holland has more bicycles than residents and the flat landscape makes cycling the ideal way to enjoy the countryside with over 17,000 km of dedicated cycle routes. Cycles can be hired cheaply so there's no need to take one with you.
Tulip Fields & Windmills - Self drive or organised tours through the tulip fields is popular in the Spring. In between the tulip fields are the famous windmills of which around 1,000 of the original 10,000 remain.
